Bought this Anorak about a two months ago. I am often outdoors in the wildernessn all year round for up to a week at a time and was searching for some decent loden clothing. The quality and workmanship of this item is absolutely awesome. The price compared to the competition is also unbeatable. The anorak is a bit lose on me because I had to order a larger size due to having quite wide shoulders, but the waist draw cord alleviates the issue well. The hood is quite large and needs time to get used to it, but is so functional its great. Can't wait until cooler weather to try it out. Customer service is exceptional. Very friendly and capable (love the "thank you" card personal touch). I can highly recommend. Buy one, you won't regret it.

New favorite outer layer!

I have only worn my new anorak for a few days, but it has quickly become my favorite outer layer. Together with the Hamra pants and a cotton t-shirt it kept me comfortably warm and cozy while standing and sitting still for 8+ hours in 3-5deg C, cloudy and very windy weather. And it was still comfortable when temperatures rose to 15deg and the sun showed up, because I could just zip up the sides and let the wind keep me cool. I have never had a jacket that could do both so well before!

I orderes an XS based on my measurements (171cm/75kg female) and the fit is excellent.

Overall it is just a 10/10 outer layer and I highly reccomend to try it out.

Surprise for Frostbeulen

I wore it now a few times and i can say, i f****** love it. it is simply awesome. i can weare my lodenjacket under it, put my spoting glases in the frontpocket, still can move myself around and the cold or the wind is not a problem at all. I didnt thought it would be that nice but it is.

Love my new Anorak

I just received my Anorak Abisko last week, and I love it. The temperature here is turning warmer, but over the weekend it was in the mid 30's F (1-2C) with 30+ MPH (48 km/h) winds and I wore my new Anorak outside for a while. The fabric is windproof, and I was very comfortable the entire time.

The fit is great, I'm 6'(182 cm) tall and weight about 230 (104 Kg) with a 49" (124 cm) chest. I ordered the XXXL, and I feel like it fits
me perfectly. The Wadmal fabric is thick, yet soft and flexible with no itching on bare skin. I have full range of motion while wearing it, and the sleeves are just long enough to pull all but my fingertips into if needed. The collar and hood are amazing, and the hood is very warm with plenty of adjust-ability. The construction of this Anorak is fantastic, I inspected the entire garment and all of the seams and stitching is solid and looks like it will last for many years of hard use.

I am very happy with my purchase, and would absolutely recommend the Anorak Abisko to anyone looking for a quality Anorak that will last for years to come. Thank you Micklagard family.

The craftsmanship is impeccable.

The people are great.

The hood is HUGE. It is overwhelming the first time you put it on, but you will love it the first time you need it. The temperature regulation it allows is amazing.
